CLOSER AND CLOSER
as we live each day
the Life we are meant to live
a Life of loving and serving and being
we approach closer and closer
that very essence of Light
the existence that is central
to all creations of our heart:
harmony, compassion, and care,
freedom and passion
relationship
all the Essence of the beautiful
the Light within each of us.approaching God’s Light along Life’s journey
through door upon door upon door
we come closer and closer
and closer yet
until all at once we know
we are one in being with God
the very Light
that gives us Life.
GENTLE WARRIOR
quite often we pretend
we’re a part of a great battle
when in reality our heart says
we’re to be at peace.
perhaps we just need to play the role
of what we really are:
the gentle warrior
where those we meet
and we both
are winners in each endeavor
we face
together.
LIFE’s SHADOWS
as Life emerges anew each day
I find it portrays all of Life’s values
some light
some dark
and many shadows in between.
depending on how I treat Life
that is
with a loving heart
or not
these gifts of Life
can be gifts of Love
and I will be the same.
A PART OF IT ALL
in Life’s generosity
we are gifted by all that is.
whether it seems good or not depends
on how much we put ourselves
into Life.
we can stand aside
and watch Life sail by
or we can engage Life
to our fullest
and become enriched by each element
merely by calling
the best in ourselves
to meet each episode.
