Mission
Speaking to 21st Century new thought awakening, Creation Spirit addresses self awareness, unity, spiritual awareness, spiritual inquiry, divine science, spiritual leadership through the lens of the philosophy of metaphysics.
Today, the spiritual seeker is presented with questions such as: the meaning of the year 2012; the purported arrival of Indigo Children and Crystal Children; the advances in scientific understanding of the Universe through Quantum Physics and the String Theory. Indeed, we now live in an exciting age of enlightened thought.
Providing insight, perspective and stimulus for intuitive inspiration, Creation Spirit presents The Spiritual Awareness Series, a collection of books which reframe enlightenment apart from the norms of centuries past.
The mission of this web-site is to place before those who are interested in ideas and perspectives about life that are expressed or reframed in ways set apart from the limitations accepted and imposed by the norm of everyday living. Generally, such perspectives can be defined in metaphysical terms. Taken from Webster’s New Universal Unabridged Dictionary, metaphysics is taken to mean:
- the branch of philosophy that treats of first principles, includes ontology (the nature of existence) and cosmology (the origin and general structure of the universe), and is intimately connected with epistemology (the origin, nature, methods, and limits of human knowledge).
- philosophy, especially in its more abstruse branches.
- the underlying theoretical principles of a subject or field of inquiry.
- a treatise (4th century B.C.) by Aristotle, dealing with first principles, the relation of universals to particulars, and the teleological doctrine of causation (the argument for the existence of God based on the assumption that order in the universe implies an orderer and cannot be a natural feature of the universe).
Much of what we have been taught for decades in the realm of religious and spiritual understanding has inculcated through some form of indoctrination. Most of these means have led us to deal with life out of rational, linear imagery. For the most part, such teaching has led us to see life literally. At the same time it has led us to envision a God and one another as separate from ourselves. Little has been conveyed to teach us how to tap into the deeper recesses of our being, into our spirituality, our Inner Authority– God, by whatever name–in order to find our own Truth about life and how we are to live it. Surely, inner Truth that comes from intuition and the subjective view has been all but discarded as the authoritative validation of deeper meaning. Part of the mission of this site is to reaffirm those essential elements as both the means to, and the ends of, Truth for each of us.
Thus the mission of this site is to encourage the fullness of loving expression each of us most certainly is. To this end, everything that is offered herein, and all that can come out of our collaborative communications, is to serve that purpose. In this way, we can more readily move from a life often governed by fear-filled minds to one more regularly validated by the outcomes of our fearless hearts. I look forward to being with you in such loving expression on a regular basis.
In Ashk and Haqq (God’s Love and Truth),
Jim Young
